On Sunday November 5, 2017 a crazed gunman shot and killed 26 Christians in their church as they worshiped the Lord at First Baptist Church Sutherland Springs, TX. That event caused a lot of concern within the church across America. A lot of discussions took place on social media about what a church should do about security for it’s members on any given Sunday. A lot of these discussions seemed to me to be motivated by fear. So, on Sunday, November 12th I felt led to preach a message of encouragement on the topic of fear. Here is that message. I hope you find it helpful as you deal with this horrific event.

I continued my series on regaining our childlike awe in our relationship with the Lord. There’s an old saying, “familiarity breeds contempt.” This can be true in our human relationships and it can also be true in our relationship with the Lord. In this series I discuss ways to regain the spark in our relationship with Jesus. You can watch my message at the link below.
On September 17th I had the honor of guest speaking at San Miguel Basin Christian Fellowship. I spoke of a time when I was in a total life crisis. I had hit rock bottom financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. During that time my relationship with the Lord was the worst it had been since becoming a Christian. So I set out on a journey to fix my relationship with the Lord. In this message I share what I discovered and how what the Lord taught me to do to set things right again. You can watch my message at the link below.
